As well as talking about how Luke the manager of the team at the time fostered an inclusive culture in their team, Zara and Si also share their own experiences of being part of the lgbtqia+ community and Luke talks about growing up and working with Dyslexia.

In this episode, we speak to Maddie who works as waiting staff at our Poppyfields pub in Northampton. Maddie has now been with Greene King for over a year and a half but originally joined through our Mencap Programme.
We discuss with Maddie her experiences of joining Greene King through the social mobility program and how it has helped her grow her confidence and become a core member of her pub team.

Charlotte is a member of Greene Sky, the employee led inclusion group (ELIG) focused on amplifying the voices of women in the the Greene King business. 
In this bite-sized podcast episode, Charlotte discusses the barriers to progression facing women in the working world and how Greene King aims to initiate a dramatic change in its own leadership development strategy.

An impassioned member of the Greene Sky employee-led inclusion group (ELIG) at Greene King, Claire is helping to drive an agenda for greater awareness among employers of the challenges facing women experiencing perimenopause and post menopause.
She discusses how "brain fog," memory loss and anxiety played their part in her own menopausal experience. Not to mention the eventual euphoria of the "second spring" that she experienced, and the hope that comes as the effects of menopause subside.
Claire also advocates for developing employers' approaches to accommodating cis and trans women undergoing this challenging period of their professional lives. And talks about how Greene King is attempting to get ahead of the curve on addressing this vital issue.
